As I ventured into the second week of lessons, I was reminded of the power of community. The Christian faith is not meant to live alone and we are "built" to know and be known. I guess that is why when the Body of Christ comes undone, it bothers me so. Because I know it is more than just folks being upset, it runs contrary to the Good News and purpose of the Gospel.
Jesus says three prayers in Scripture. One is for himself but two are for the disciples. The focus? That they will be unified and know their first love who then reminds them of their love for one another.
